Since Patriot Day, September 11, fell on a Sunday this year, we held Patriot Day a few days early on Friday, September 9. Students Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade gathered outside by the flag pole to honor those who lost their lives on 9-11.  We said the Pledge of Allegiance, sang a few patriotic songs, and listened to a few words in regards to September 11. 

     For art, we made patriotic windsock. At the end of the day, we took them outside to see if they could fly and they did!
