Santa sent two of his elves to visit our classroom.  They were Kindness Elves.  They wanted the Second Graders to take a Kindness Challenge.  They wanted them to be kinder to their classmates, other students, and teachers.  Each day they offered us a new challenge.  When we had a good day, Santa let them bring treats back from the North Pole and put in our stockings.  On the days when we were not so kind, our stocking were empty.  We tried very hard to be kinder to others.  The Elves said they had to head back to the North Pole during Christmas Break but they reminded us that kindness lasts all year long and not just during Christmas.
